HGS Parent Forum is an independent PTO/PTA style group which was founded by Howard Gardner MI Charter School parents in 2016. All parents or guardians of enrolled students are automatically members of this active group and membership documents or fees are not required. Parent Forum functions includes providing funding for supplies and special projects, assignments and coordination of classroom parents to assist HGS teachers through the year, planning and funding several school events through the year and hosting fundraisers to make these activities and many more events possible. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month, and all are welcome and encouraged to attend and most importantly, participate. Only when our membership is supportive, strong and active can we create a community that will allow our children to flourish.
